CAN YOU HELP WITH THESE PICTURES

These were sent in by Maurice from Canada. He bought them as old photographic plates in Brighton. He has sent the prints to me because one was taken by Stickells of Cranbrook. DO YOU RECOGNISE ANY OF THE PEOPLE - OR WHERE THE PICTURES MAY BE??? Maurice would love to be able to give the original plates to relatives of people in these pics....if you recognise anything or can help please email in (or use the feedback form on the site)
many thanks

Any ideas about these 2 soldiers?

Who are these people??? This is the one which is annotated Stickell's Cranbrook. WHERE is it? If it's Cranbrook I cannot find the house. Where is Allen's shop??? It's not Cranbrook as there is a railway signal; behind.

2 lovely old cars...don't know the type. registrations Left: KL 1233 Right: CL 68
Thanks Val Fry: Left hand one is a Morris Cowley.
Who is it? The right hand one is a victorian trick one with a lady superimposed on a letter: it was from Alf.

Another trick photo as the picture on the wall is of the overall picture..infact the picturte on the wall of the pictuure on the wall is too!

Calling all posties – is anyone able to throw any light on who the two in the photograph are ? I believe – but I might be wrong – that the two are a local postman and a telegram delivery boy. Date at a guess 1890-1910. Any help much appreciated. P Mellor E-mail: advice@petermellor.co.uk
